🦋 Personality

Option 2:
  • Dead: To stop drawing breath, for a mortal heart to no longer beat, and for the physical body to grow still and cold. Mortals see it as the end of one thing and the beginning of a new, some believing it simply to be the end, while others belief in what comes next. It is simply a changing of one state to another, a growth which so few perceive and so many lose themselves in. It is the inevitability that so many mortals fear, that they so desperately try to avoid and delay as long as they can. But it is change, an altered continuation, a transformation. It is the end of one thing and yet the renewal of all things. It is not something that is good, nor bad, joyous or sad, it is the conclusion which will come to all mortals as they move from the burdens and limitations of they mortal form. Though the threat of death and pain is an excellent motivator and teacher.

  • Sin: A moral construct of mortals to beings and gods which they believe hold some purpose for them. An act, thought, or behavior that goes against the divine will or moral law set by other mortal men; who use this code and the fear of its violation to hold power over others, and to influence their thoughts and beliefs. It is a tool used to make mortals questions whether they are a good person or whether their soul retains some value based on the choices they make. It sets their code of what is and is not moral, offering them justification for so many of their actions, used to elevate themselves above one another, to separate themselves from those with separate beliefs. It is the internal conflict within each human heart, and an effective weapon they utilize against themselves and one another. The ambiguous moral code that is ever changing to suit those who claim to hold power over the souls of men.

  • Child: A child represents a beginning, a blank slate, and most importantly limitless potential. It is one that while they have not learned all that they need to know, has so much room for growth and has the ability to be molded and shaped by the one who they are left in the care of. It is a heart, mind, and soul that has not become burdened or tempered by the experience of life for either good or worse. As such it can be molded and shaped to fit the need and desire of the one who is raising and seeing to its education, it is fluidity and malleability of the mind and heart. But it is ignorance and stupidity, often impatience, and trying. A child is responsibility and liability to the one charged with it care, the cost for the influence which they hold over it, a duty that is owed to it.

  • Flower: A thing of spring, Flowers use beauty and color to hide and disguise frailty. They bloom and thrive in the light, basking in the golden warmth of the sun in the summer and spring. But like any mortal thing they have a fleeting existence that lasts for only a breath. Their beauty serves the purpose of only attracting and manipulating others, in nature to call those who would spread pollen and further their existence. To humans to convey emotions that are just as fleeting and will wilt and wither with time as the flower which is plucked. But while frail and fleeting, there are those who in their beauty hide thorns and poisonous intentions; for frailty does not convey weakness necessarily.

  • Door: More than a mundane piece of wood hung to separate spaces, it represents a threshold a division between two separate entities and spaces. It is a barrier that is used to divide one world from another, to keep energies from interacting and intermingling. While being the portal through which one can cross to go from one plane to another, one existence to another. Locked it bar one entrance to the place that they seek and long to be, or bar them exit from the existence that they find themselves in. Open it shows the chance for ascension or traversing beyond the current state and limitations that one has either from circumstance of from self imposed codes and morals. Doors are a portals, a concept which explains why so often mortals will tend to become disconnected from their thoughts and goals and forget why they have gone from one room to another.
